ICS Calendar Importer

Privacy policy

Effective: October 16, 2026

Purpose

ICS Calendar Importer is a locally installed Windows program that imports iCalendar (.ics) events into the Google Calendar account the user authorizes.

Information accessed

The program reads the selected local ICS file, which can contain event names, dates, times, locations, descriptions, attendees, and reminders. Through Google's Calendar API, it accesses event information as needed to create calendar entries and check for duplicates. It does not require the user's Google password.

How information is used

Event information is used to import appointments into the authorized Google Calendar and prevent duplicate imports. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are used to maintain the authorized connection to Google. The program does not use calendar data for advertising or analytics.

Storage and sharing

The desktop program keeps its configuration and authorization data on the user's Windows computer. It may maintain local diagnostic logs of import activity or errors. Calendar event data is transmitted to Google through the Google Calendar API to perform the import; it is not sent to an independent application server. The application operator does not sell calendar data or share it with advertisers.

This website is an information page only. The site's hosting provider may process ordinary access logs according to its own practices; the desktop utility does not use this webpage to perform calendar imports.

Control and revocation

Users can revoke access in their Google Account third-party connections. Events already added to Google Calendar remain there unless the user deletes them. Deleting the local program and its stored credentials removes its local authorization data.
